ALTER BRIDGE/SLASH Frontman MYLES KENNEDY Interviewed By RockSource360.com (Audio)
January 18, 2011Valerie Bastien of RockSource360.com recently conducted an interview with ALTER BRIDGE singer Myles Kennedy, who is currently pulling double duty, touring with that group while also fronting the touring band for VELVET REVOLVER guitarist Slash. You can now listen to the chat using the audio player below.
Although Kennedy sang just two tracks on Slash's self-titled solo debut, he confirmed to The Pulse Of Radio that Slash would like him to sing everything on the guitarist's next solo effort. "It's very flattering," he said. "I think there's kind of a cool thing we got going. We really enjoy working with each other. I know they're auditioning singers now for VELVET REVOLVER, so I don't know if they find the right guy if that'll affect things timing-wise. I'm not really sure. But the plan right now is that yeah, we'll do a record together down the road."
Slash's debut disc came out last year and featured a different singer on each track, including Chris Cornell, Ozzy Osbourne, M. Shadows and others.
ALTER BRIDGE recently completed a tour behind its latest album, "AB III".
Kennedy rejoined Slash's band on January 16, when Slash began an opening stint for OZZY OSBOURNE.
